To whom it may concern,
I believe I have located the lake of fire, and also the bottomless pit. Scary stuff. For a refresher course, here is the lake of fire I’m referring to:
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. – Revelation 20:14
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. – Revelation 20:15
This lake of fire is also to be found in the Old Testament:
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? – Isaiah 33:14
And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. – Isaiah 34:9
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. – Isaiah 66:24
Scientists are discovering that the center of the Earth is indeed largely sulfur (brimstone), which is unusual because it’s a lighter element. Lighter elements would naturally rise. Logically, the heaviest elements would be in the center. What are the odds that the Bible would be correct about that? There are maybe 30 or so elements that it could have been. Any other element and the Bible would be wrong, and yet it’s not. It’s like putting money on a number on a roulette wheel, and 2,000 years later it lands.
Here’s the bottomless pit:
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. – Revelation 9
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. – Revelation 20
I believe this is also what is referred to in the Old Testament as ‘the pit’:
23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
29 There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit. – Ezekiel 32
So this is not something I say lightly. This was not my plan for the world. Don’t kill the messenger, but hell will be real, folks. Here’s how I know:
The vast majority of cheap oil left is in the Middle East.
And wouldn’t you know that the vast majority of the oil is in one small circle near the Persian Gulf.
The vast majority of oil reserves on Earth are in one small circle in the Middle East. And we know that Iran and Iraq are enemies of one another, and that Iran appears to be building a nuclear weapon on purpose to start WWIII (the Islamic Armageddon), in the hopes the 12th Imam will emerge. This 12th Imam will probably end up being one of the Dajjals/Mashiachs (The first few False Christs) which I talk about in another post called Who the False Christs Will Be.
What happens if one of those nukes went off in that red circle? What would happen if you nuked a desert?
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. – Revelation 15:2
Looking at a map of the oil wells in the Middle East, and watching the video below on the fulfilled Trumpets of Revelation (The 5th Trumpet was clearly the first Gulf War): I think we can expect the bottomless pit to be somewhere in the red circle above, and that the Lake of Fire will be somewhere in the blue circle, if not in the same place: Kuwait–none other than the site of the ancient city Ur, from whence Abraham came.
It seems from Revelation that the pit and the lake might occur at different times, so I’m still not completely sure on a lot of this.
That cavernous oil well under Kuwait and Saudi Arabia that houses the vast majority of the oil on Earth is a prime candidate. The Bible says it’s a bottomless pit, but of course it’s not actually bottomless. According to the video below, it’ll be a pit into the center of the Earth, but because it’ll be zero gravity there, it’ll feel bottomless, and hot, and dark. Hence, outer darkness.
This also dovetails with the Islamic end times prophecy regarding Malhama, which is the Islamic Armageddon. Their Armageddon is prophesied to be a war over treasure under the Euphrates River, which just so happens to run through Kuwait. Many Muslim scholars interpret the oil fields to be that treasure, and their Armageddon, Malhama, is fought over it.
The Hadiths about Euphrates River in the End Times
The following Hadiths about Euphrates River uncovering a treasure of Gold should not be interpreted purely based on its apparent meaning. The Euphrates River does NOT necessarily have to uncover gold to the extent that a major war will be fought to gain control of it. In our numerical analysis, the results of which will be revealed in our book about the End Times, we provide a TOTALLY different interpretation of these Hadiths.
Abu Huraira narrated that Prophet Mohammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ” The time is approaching when the Euphrates (River) will recede revealing a treasure of gold. Whoever is present there should not take away anything from it.” (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) Another variation of this Hadith states “mountain of gold” instead of “treasure of gold”.
Abu Huraira narrated that Prophet Mohammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The Hour (of Resurrection) will not occur until the Euphrates will recede revealing a mountain of gold. People will fight over it. Out of every hundred, ninety nine will be killed. Each man of them says ‘May be I will be the one who survives’. ” (Sahih Muslim) Another variation of this Hadith adds “If you see it (the treasure), do not approach it.”
This Euphrates drying up and being surrounded by death, is also in the Bible:
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. – Revelation 16:12
For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord God of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates. – Jeremiah 46:10
There is also a lake of fire in Islamic eschatology, but it is curiously not near the Euphrates, but in Aiden, Yemen.
At the end, a Fire would burn forth from Yemen (or from Aden according to Ahmad), which would drive people to the place of their final gathering place.” (Sahih Muslim, Ahmad)
Let’s take a look at Yemen’s oil fields:
This could be the location of the lake of fire, while the bottomless pit will be in Kuwait. Kuwait will make for a lot bigger lake of fire, though, and it does seem as if it’s gotta burn for a whole millennium. Aden, as you can see, is on the coast and has no oil deposits under it.
This is why I am confident the bottomless pit will be in Kuwait, and probably also the lake of fire.
Another thing that doesn’t quite line up as well in Christian and Islamic eschatology is the location the beast will emerge from:
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. – Revelation 11:7
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. – Revelation 17:8
The theory is that the bottomless pit is under Kuwait. According to the Bible, the beast comes out there. However, the Islamic beast (daabba) emerges from somewhere in Mecca:
Place of Emergence
Many opinions have been expressed as regards to the place the Daabba will come out from. A few are listed:
1) It will come out from Al-Masjid Al-Haraam in Mecca. This opinion is based on the Hadith reported by Tabrani on the authority of Huzaifa bin Usaid.
2) Some scholars believe it will come out from the Safa in Mecca.
3) It will come out three times, from some desert and then go back into hiding, then from some village and finally from Al-Masjid Al-Haraam.
There are many other opinions most of them report that it will come out from the Haram of Mecca. (Imam Qurtubi’s book Tazkirah and Muhammad Al-Barzanji’s book Isha’ah li Ashrat Al-Sa’a)
Baridah said: “The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم took me to a place in the desert, near Mecca. It was a dry piece of land surrounded by sand. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, ‘The Beast will emerge from this place.’ It was a very small area.” (Ibn Maja)
(Nuaim bin Hammad’s Kitab Al-Fitan)
There is not a lot of oil under Mecca, so this will probably not be the location of the lake of fire or the bottomless pit. Not everything aligns perfectly, but alignments are enough to suggest it’ll happen. Another thing to remember is that Muhammad was a false prophet who spoke false prophecy.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. – Matthew 24:24
A great many of his end times prophecies (60 of 77, by my count) are coming true, so this does indeed mean the devil has prophets, and the power of prophecy. These prophecies are a form of misdirection by the devil, though. Surely Allah is not God. Only Jesus Christ is.
One more thing I want to touch on, as I drop the spectre of eternal hellfire on your lap. Many people do not believe a merciful, just God would send people to hell for eternity. It’s a common sentiment. I mean, if I hold my hand over a candle for 3 seconds, I can’t take it, you know? So eternal hellfire, this is way harsh. Well, that’s why I’ve got some good news. There is good reason to believe hellfire may not be eternal for the following reasons:
1. The Hebrew and Greek words for forever (olam and aion, respectively) do not always mean forever, but often mean for just a long period of time.
2. God has been known to change His mind. God repents at several points in the Old Testament,
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. – Genesis 6
Here, Moses even changes God’s mind:
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
11 And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. – Exodus 32
11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.
13 And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
15 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
16 Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word: – Numbers 14
And when the Lord raised them up judges, then the Lord was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the Lord because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them. – Judges 2:18
15 So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite. – 2 Samuel 24
God does listen to prayers and pleadings, and so surely He will do the same in the Kingdom of Heaven, yes? Well, perhaps He can be swayed, given time. And eternity is indeed a long time (if that is indeed what the Bible indicates).
